So a little while back Katy Garrison had asked me to do some illustrations for a book a friend of hers was putting together called, “Things Drunk People Say.” Sounds awesome, right? Well it is. Anyway, I did five drawings for it and I thought I’d post them. Enjoy

So yeah. I guess the actual book should be coming out soonish. I’ll let you know when it does.

So this is a new-ish drawing i did a while back. I was finally able to scan it in to show it. I’ll have more information about it soon.

So Lost at E Minor is having a design contest for a new logo. They’re offering up $400 along with the logo being splashed on all they’re products and prominent credit on their site. Any designers out there looking for some recognition should definitely check this out. These guys get tons of views on their site so the logo would be seen by tons of people. I’ve been too busy with things. I just want to create something.

So my favorite illustrator at the moment has to be mcbess. This guy’s style is ridiculous.

I love the old “Steamboat Willy” style of his characters. That’s kind of the direction that i want to move into with mine. More fluid.

I have this one as my desktop at work. I want to buy it as a print. So awesome.

Later on Friday, I was talking to my co-worker about motion graphics work and it reminded me of the motion graphics videos that I have done. I put them up on Vimeo a while back and totally forgot about them. So I will now share them with you.

This was my first one that I did. I had to make an opening title sequence for a movie so I picked the Life Aquatic. It turned out pretty well I think.

For these, I had to make a set of interstitials for a TV network. So I picked Adult Swim on Cartoon Network and drew these illustrations.

This was one of my favorite projects in school. I want to do more animations like this, especially with the new characters I’ve been doing.

This is another opening title sequence I did. This was probably the most intense video projects that I did, but I really like how it turned out.

I know this is late posting about this, but last month’s Jacksonville Beardsmith Society pub night went swimmingly. It was great fun, great beards and mustaches and great beer. You can check out the full photo set here. Thanks Tiffany!
