Tonight the Jacksonville Beardsmith Society will be hosting it’s first Monthly Pub Night. The meeting will take place at Steamworks in 5points at 7:30 pm. Everyone is welcome: Beards, Mustaches, Sideburns, ladies and the clean-shaven. If you do not have facial hair, then some will be provided for you. Come out, have some fun and enjoy some beverages.

There will be drink specials if you so have facial hair real or fake.

The Jacksonville Beardsmith Society is a local chapter of the Beard Team USA. We compete in the world championships in Anchorage, Alaska in May this year.

I’ve finally made time to build a website for my art. It took me a long time to get this far. I finally just had to sit down and put something together.

I’m still working on it to get all of the bugs out and basically finish the site, but this is a great start.

Some of what I’m going to fix are as follows:

• Figure out why some functionality is missing in the admin panel. For instance, I can only edit in html mode and I cannot create new categories.
• Take out the whole category section.
• stylize the comments.
• fix the line-height issue in ie.
• fix other ie bugs.
• add portfolio and the other pages.
• stylize the left-over typography.
• add rss to sidebar
• clean up design
• add a background image
• add a favicon
• fix some other design issues

Hopefully I should have something fully functional up by tonight! Then I just need to get the Jacksonville Beardsmith Society up and running. In one week, Jacksonville Beards Unite!
